[Opinions] Haven and Miriam
The names of a mother/daughter duo. Mom is 42, kid 10Which is the mom and which is the kid? Would it change was Norah and Haven?Spoiler: I'm Haven, my daughter is Miriam. Yesterday my husband's co-worker assumed that Niriam was the mom. I'm at the dentist and both the hygienist and receptionist called Miriam Haven. The poets have mysteriously silent on the subject of cheese. G.K. Chesteron

Haven is certainly unexpected on a woman in her 40s! I love Miriam, which is a timeless classic.
You have a very youthful name, beautiful and ages well, but because of that I’d assume Haven was the child. The Miriam’s I know are all in their seventies, except one who was born in the eighties. I therefore would presume Miriam to be the mother.
They sound lovely together. You and your parents seem to have different tastes, though. If you are Haven but you chose Miriam for your daughter, it seems that you chose something safer and more sophisticated. I do love Have, but it sounds very youthful. I definitely think of a child and not a mother.Miriam Haven is a wonderful combo, even if it was a misunderstanding!Norah seems more mature than Haven but not as mature as Miriam - but I would have thought that Norah was the mom, certainly.
