Allegra - not attractive to me; is used now and then in South Africa, surprisingly.
Annabel - lovely etymology, but as a name I prefer Mabel or, and especially, Anne.
Claire - prefer and would use Clare. Using a French spelling but not a French pronunciation seems pointless.
Frances - pleasant enough; I prefer Francis for a boy.
Martha - heavy and dull.
Rosalind - bad associations but not a bad name; I do prefer Rosamond or even Rosemary.
Sylvie - why, why, why when Sylvia is so beautiful and has been used for at least two millennia? Sylvia can be Sylvie if she likes, but Sylvie is left without any choice.
