Melpomene, in my opinion, is one of the most beautiful names. I've created a number of polls about it, and they routinely attract harsh criticism. What are your thoughts on it? I think Pom is my favorite nickname.

I find this name spooky (in an enjoyable way), maybe because the first place I ever heard it said aloud was in a horror movie. The "pomene" part really pleases me. I would be thrilled to find out a Mel was actually a Melpomene!
