David James Washington (27) is an author. He’s working with Ava on one of his books. Born in London, his parents migrated to a small neighborhood somewhere in Kansas. He always had a passion for writing.
He attended Kansas State where he impressed his professor with his creative writing. After graduating, he had a short stint writing articles for a newspaper. He then switched to what he loved most. Writing. His books never really became popular (so far). He met Ava when he took biked in the nearby woods and saw Ava working on one of her drawings about the landscape.
When he’s not working on his books, he normally bikes around the city or takes his car to the nearby San Francisco for some R & R. He aspires for his books to be a bestseller, so he normally goes around his neighborhood for inspiration.
For some reason, he always had this tingling feeling in his body when he’s around Ava, but doesn’t know what it is.

Edwin Arthur Gerald Washington (56) is David's father.
he was born in Sheffield, married and had his first son in London, then moved with his wife and family to the USA to seek a more calm life, away from the petty royal bickering and pedantic etiquette of the british urban life. He started his new life as a photographer for the local newspaper.
Edwin's offspring have all inherited his artistic streak, but especially David.
Edwin's main interest in life is keeping his family united and strong, and his main hobbies are moonshine brewing and the occadional fishing trip
