Help[Opinions] Galatea
Just watched a movie with a minor character named, Galatea. (Gal-uh-tay-uh) Thoughts? I never heard the name before so it certainly stood out to me.
"Has the planet gone mad? My brother... passion's hostage. I seek justice! Denied. I shall not submit! I shall conquer! I shall rise! My name is Gomez Addams, and I have seen evil! I have seen horror!"

There’s a YouTuber named Galatea (the authentic observer) that I watch. It’s her real name and it seems to suit her.
I really like it actually, it’s not much more confusing than..Aliyah for examplel. I think I’ll add it to my future cat list actually :D

I was just thinking about this name the other day! I find it gorgeous and evocative.
I have great difficulty liking four-syllable names with the emphasis on the first and third syllables. I find them very heavy and clunky. Mythologically, Galatea is fine, but it is unfamiliar and therefore, probably, prone to becoming 'Gala Tea' - a posh mid-afternoon celebration.
