Thomas and Tamsin are too twin heavy for my taste, but they do sound more dissimilar than Thomas and Thomasina. I like Tamsin far more than Thomas.

It would depend on what I liked about Leon. If I liked the lion association, then Leo, Lionel, etc.. would be alternatives.
