Gram seems to be strictly American; unfortunately, it could well spread like chewing gum and Coca-Cola.
I like Graham, two syllables of course, very much and would consider using it IRL. I have a distant cousin Graham, a boomer; it seems to be out of fashion now, but I think it's still perfectly usable.
