I applied to work in England and received a response from a Cerys. What do you think of the name? I am a fan of Wales and Welsh names and really like it.

I prefer Carys to Cerys but I love Welsh names. I have Welsh ancestry and have a few Welsh names in my family tree including Carys, Olwen and Branwen. I also love Tesni, Eirlys and Eleri.

I think it’s really pretty, as a lot of welsh names are. Some are obviously easier to pronounce than others. I do prefer Carys to Cerys.
