I don’t like either. Naming a child Judas is along the same lines of naming him Adolf. And Judd is better as a nickname. On the other hand I do like Judah and Jude.

I was not expecting Judd to be a diminutive of Jordan. I was assuming that it would be a nickname for Justin or or other names that begin with Ju-. That threw me off. It’s ok as a name.

Judas - that comes with a lot of baggage. And I don’t normally like names that end in -as (I’m childish and it reminds me of ass). I like Jude though.
