Fun fact: I just discovered that Avril Lavinge is my sister's age. I thought she was much younger.
Anyway:
Avril is really tied to Lavinge, and at 39 her music hasn't evolved much. The name is similar - it's stalled in time as a 'cool '90s name' but isn't really that cool or unique.
April is sweet, a bit boring, and becoming somewhat dated. I would prefer to meet a baby April to Avril.
