I like Amada but I keep mistaking it for Amanda, or it reminds me of the word armada.
Also, Amada sounds nice to me but the popularity graph seems to imply that it's an old lady name in Spain.

Amada is no doubt fine in its own surroundings; doesn't work for me in English. I don't mind Amanda as a mn, but as a fn it becomes Mandy and that is a horrible life sentence.
