Help[Opinions] Will
What do you think of just Will? Not a nickname for William, but by itself. I like William too of course, also Wilbur and Wilfred, but I think Will in itself is gorgeous - simple and strong and handsome. Thoughts?

William and its nicknames/derivatives are too common, and "will" is such a common word in English as it marks the future tense.

I like it but I'd still prefer it to be short for William.

I don't mind Will. It's much nicer than Liam, anyway, which is like nails on a chalkboard to me. Simple and strong is a good way to describe it.
If I try to remember that Will is also a word, like "determination", it makes it more interesting to me.
