I don't feel like it's as much of a caricature of "boring and old" as Wilma and Norman. But it's similar to those, obviously.
It reminds me of jeans.
Norma Jean, Gloria Jean, Billie Jean, Wanda Jean.
It's not as ordinary/old/harmless seeming as Nora, maybe to its detriment. I think of Nora vs Norma as like Willa vs Wilma. But neither is it as fun as Zelma.
