[Opinions] Re: Stuck for a first name
Japanese names often mean things like “cherry,” or the like.
Girl names: Momoko (peach), Sakura (cherry), Rika (plum or pear), etc.
Boys aren’t usually named after fruit in Japan, but chestnuts are okay for a boy’s name. Examples include Ritsu, Rihiro, etc.
However, I’d keep obviously fruit names (like Cherry, Huckleberry, etc.) for middle names. Otherwise you risk their fist name turning into an adjective, which could be unpleasant as they get older.
