I recently got back from France. I’ve already posted some names I came across written on locks there, and in a cemetery, however I thought I would also hear some names I heard out and about! What do you think?

These seem like pretty standard French names. It also shows how diverse and multicultural France is.

Dezire: is it pronunced like Désirée?
Kadiatou: probably of Western African origin like Mali, Guinée or Sénégal.

Thank you for your response! Dezire was written down, so I can’t say for sure what the pronunciation was. It was on a guy, which also sort of surprised me.
