Holly, 1000% I loathe Poppy and can't for the life of me, understand why it's so trendy. I can only hope that it doesn't enter the top 100, although it seems to be on its way there. 😮💨🙄
It sounds infantile, looks like a certain word (*coughs awkwardly* 💩) makes me think of poppy seeds/opium, and sounds like something a young child might call their dad. It just doesn't sound like a name at all and has no redeeming qualities.
The double 'P's also does it absolutely no favors. I can just imagine when a Poppy is spelling her name out loud. "P.O.PP..."
It's certainly a hard pass for me. I much rather see Polly used.
