Aw. I named my cat Freda after a great aunt. I would have spelled it Frida but that's not how she spelled it (nn for Frederica). I've always loved the sound of it. As a child it reminded me of the word freedom. My husband named our other cat Fergus. (The F theme wasn't intentional.) So my first thought when I see Gretel and Frida is: Fergus. :0)
