It's cute, but I prefer Adorée, Adorine and Adoración, but I guess it could work as a short form.

There was a character in a children's book I read long ago while working in a library: Ida Dora Mann. Which, of course, summed up her role in the story. That's all I can think of when faced with Adora, though I realise it's unfair.

One of my aunties is named Adora. She gets called "Dor" or sometimes "Dora" for short. It's got a lot of sentimental value to me.

Not surprising given the popularity of the new She-Ra series. I wouldn’t use it personally but it is cute.
