Chastity is terrible, Purity is marginally better since it can apply to non-sexual notions.

I think chastity as a virtue can have a spiritual connotation like 'wholeness/integrity' or 'right/thoughtful use of creative energy' kind of like brahmacharya does. Purity's other meanings seem much worse to me, although I guess it could be like Clarity in a way which isn't bad.
