[Facts] Arabic name Jul?
Does anyone know where Jul comes from as an arabic name/what original name it's derived from?
According to nordicnames.de it means "willpower', 'determination".

Thank you! I can see how it could be derived from Gul but I don't think that's it.
The source given on nordicnames is a paper from the Copenhagen University so I would guess that the meaning and origin is correct but I can’t find any more infos.

I found the paper online, but it doesn't give any more information than nordicnames does.

Maybe you'll get an answer on this site: https://quranicnames.com/
(already checked: they don't have Jul in their list, but they do have a message board)
