I've known a surprising number of people of multiple gender identities with name Paisley, and I don't think its worked on any of them. I don't think of parlsey, I think of a surname that doesn't sound very attractive as a first name in any capacity.

I'm totally indifferent towards Paisley because it's too similar to Presley (Elvis) and because I've never heard it while Presley is a celebrity name.

I like Parsley for its meaning but I dislike its sound (too similar to Presley). In Italian parsley is Prezzemolo that is not a given name and it would be unuseable because Prezzemolo is the name of a male green-dragon mascot of Gardaland a very big and famous amusement park resort located in northeastern Italy.
