Walt grew up in Georgia, USA. Angelina grew up in multiple homes across multiple Slavic countries. Finally coming to the United States for college, she stayed there, meeting Walt at a swing dance in her mid-twenties. The became friends, and after a few years got married. Taylor, Kai, and Karter have had a pretty typical childhood, except for being fluent in Russian by the age of five, and the Tenneysons are generally happy.
Taylor's the kind of girl who's really shy and kind of weird until you get to know her. She has a close knit group of friends, but they no longer go to the same school. She used to feel very alone, but now that she and her friends have their licenses it isn't so bad. She enjoys chemistry and wants to be a toxicologist. She also plays bass guitar and piano. She also has a thing for sports.
Kai and Karter are obsessed with all things nature. Kai is more bookish than Karter, and Karter more athletic than Kai. Kai is more prone to mood swings, but Karter may have some anger issues. Kai has a small group of friends but gets on well with everyone, while Karter only gets along with four people in their whole middle school. Kai is more of a peace-maker and hates conflict (unless it's with his siblings). Karter enjoys boxing and will not hesitate to flex his debate skills.
