[Facts] Feminine form of Marolus?
I'm making a new character, who was born close to a river, and I'm looking for any water-based names for it. I came across Marolus, and really liked its sound. My character is female, though, and I was wondering if there's any agreed feminine form of it.

I think Marola, Maroliana, Maroletta, Marolina can be some feminine forms of Marolus
Hi !!!
Marolus > Marola (ma-ROH-la) I suppose. Marolo/Marola (It. of Marolus/Marola) are archaic names nowadays in Italy.
I only found that this was the name of a Saint (previously an archbishop) from Milan who lived in the V century AD.

The meaning of Marolus (and Marola) is right according to this site: "someone who lives close to the sea, by the coast".
