[Opinions] Orla and Isla
Replies
i would use a combo like orla-isla as a middle name, i madly in love with all tho
I love Maya (pretty popular where I am, but usually spelt Maia), like Isla (have heard it before, but never met one), and am undecided on Orla (it reminds me a bit too much of Norma or Carla, which feel very old-fashioned to me, but it's kind of cute and has a nice meaning.)
For middles:
Maya Jade, Maya Simone, Maya Roísín
Isla Wren, Isla Jean, Isla Muriel
Orla Kay, Orla Maeve, Orla Noelle
For middles:
Maya Jade, Maya Simone, Maya Roísín
Isla Wren, Isla Jean, Isla Muriel
Orla Kay, Orla Maeve, Orla Noelle
Where I live, Maya has been popular for a while (along with variations) and Isla has also gotten popular, but I've never met an Orla. To me Orla looks like a name I'd expect for a mom or a grandma. It doesn't sound dated, since I've never even met one, but the look and structure of it seem older for some reason.
