Pronounced as 'tee' like the drink? Possibly as a nickname, but it'd be really weird as a full name here in the UK. There might be a bit of a "hurr-hurr Brits and their tea stereotype" vibe, pseudo-self-aware, overally r/britishproblems and ultimately cringey, but I think the r/britishproblems-est of people would struggle not to find it really odd as a given name. If you want a tee-ah sound, Thea with a hard-t wouldn't be intuitive for the average English speaker, but most people would get the idea fairly quickly and it'd be no more of a mental jump (maybe less as it's not a common vocab word) spelling it Thea than Tea. But then Tia's probably the most obvious choice?

Thea is better in English at least, it’s too much like the drink otherwise.

If the pronunciation is like TEE uh then I think it’s pretty. I think I would spell it Tia though.

It’s ok as a nickname for Mattea, but I’m not really a fan of it by itself.
