[Opinions] without knowing more ...
It's impossible to say. Do you mean rhyming? Like Daniel Nathaniel or Michelle Noelle? Because that really would be a bad idea, and it souds like a deliberate attempt to be funny or silly. Before you criticize a man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way, when you criticize him, you're a mile away and you have his shoes!

Something like: Iris Ivy, or Isabella Sophia

Isabella and Sophia are only similar style-wise, and stylistically similar middle names are fine. They don't sound a bit alike soundwise.
Iris Ivy is a real tongue-twister, and the fact they're both plants is a turn-off for me. Combos like that tend to sound like scents for hand lotion or something.

Iris Ivy looks like a genetically modified plant. Isabella Sophia is normal in countries (think Spain and Italy) where female names typically end in -a, so that would be fine. If you like Iris Ivy but don't enjoy the GM thing, inserting another mn would help. Iris Abigail Ivy, for instance, breaks the sequence and sounds OK.
