I don't much care for either name, really, but if I had to choose between them, then absolutely Beatrice. It's classic, well-known and no-nonsense. Beatrix is more whimsical and more fitting for a character or a pet, in my opinion. Also I far prefer the ending of 'Tris' sound over 'Trix'
