The Rennerfelt family

Location: Zürich, Switzerland
Four years ago the Rennerfelt family relocated from Geneva to Zürich, partly due to a job offer for Nils that was too good to refuse and partly also due to Rosetta's figure skating career as she changed coaches and joined a new team there. She made it into Swiss junior national team two years in a row and is again a step closer to her dream. On the other hand Gaia's excitement with figure skating lasted, well not very long, she is instead taking piano classes and recently joined a science club at her school. Fredrik has always loved animals and has pushed for a dog as soon as he could verbalize his wish, on his sixth birthday Nils and Marta finally gave in and got him an Irish Setter puppy.

Oliver and Betsy welcomed their last baby thirteen months ago, a little girl much to Ripley and Sadie's joy. Betsy is fully enjoying the life on farm although she was sceptical at first and especially is enjoying having all her children around, as the time when they will start flying the nest is inevitably coming. Levi is in high school and is scheduled to graduate a year ahead thanks to his excelent grades and knowledge, he hopes to be accepted to Columbia University and continue his studies there. After trying a bunch of sports Sawyer finally found his calling in football and is a part of his middle school team, playing as a quarterback, according to his coach he has bright future in front of him. Flynn is at twelve already deadly set on one day taking over the farm from his parents, he enjoys all things related to farming and is a great help to his parents. Ripley and Sadie couldn't be more different, while Ripley is the tomboy of the family and is always on the go, Sadie is a girlie girl to her core. Bowen was for a long time the baby of the family and had troubles to adjust once his little sister was born, he still does not enjoy being around the baby that much, but at least the streaks of jealousy are gone.

Lillian is in her third year of medical school at Florida State University College of Medicine and surprisingly enjoys the life in sunny Florida a lot. She has been together with her girlfriend for little over a year now after they met through a dating app, her girlfriend has just graduated with a degree in accounting. As soon as Natalie graduated high school she has followed Valentin to France following a year long long-distance relationship, Mark and Autumn were not really excited about her decision but supported her choice which turned out to be a good thing as Natalie is flourishing in France. She is studying French language and literature at university in Paris and being at top of her class, that all while she and Valentin are raising their son who just turned one. The pregnancy was not planned, but they both quickly concluded it was not the end of the world either and with the help of Valentin's parents they are both determined to graduate university and raise their son well. Isaiah took a gap year after he was done with high school, taking up a volunteer job in Mexico, that's where he met his girlfriend as well. They have since returned to Washington and are both enrolled in college working on their degrees in humanities.
