Queen Callista is very happy with her two oldest children! She was able to marry off Amandine to Baron Wynstar. Amandine is now rich and taken care of and Claude is a doting husband. They had a baby right after the marriage named Cormack. Amandine is a devoted mother and they have more recently added Calliope to the family. Callista is thrilled Amandine's marriage is working out, but isn't thrilled to be a grandmother. She insists on going by "Cece" instead of grandma. Prince Ajax married his fiance Antigone. The king was able to work out a settlement and make Ajax a royal duke since it's unlikely he will become king. Ajax and Antigone have an adorable son named Aleph and are trying to act like they might become royalty.
Callista is mad at her younger kids. Arianwen has a lovely suitor in Lord Woodwell, but she is reluctant to wed at all and says he's too old. Aurelian is also reluctant to wed, but since he is the youngest and a boy, his mother is more tolerant.
Meanwhile Prince Ansel married Dame Myrto and was able to work out the details. Her legacy will be handled by a family member. They tried to pick who would handle Myrto's legacy as the writer Revecca Crownwell in a game of cards, but that ended in disaster and no one was sure who won since people kept re-entering the tournament. She did give a lot of money to the Royal Family of Northwood. It's helping them finance repairs to Northwood Castle and legacies for young members of the family.
