[Opinions] Re: Is Morgana too 'dark' sounding?
in reply to a message by Guest
Quotebut some people think it sounds too dark and esoteric or that it sounds deadly ("morgue")
Personally, I've never heard anyone say that about Morgan, which is far more common and closer in sound to "morgue" than Morgana (Morgan and morgue share a syllable emphasis), so I'm surprised to hear people say this about Morgana. That said, I've loved Morgana for many years. She has figured into my Top 10 quite often, and she could again in the future. I met a Morgana in college, as well (a few years under me), and she was pretty "normal" all things considered (she wasn't exactly "conservative," but neither was she one of the campus hippies or neo-pagans). I love the Arthurian legacy of Morgana, as well.***Please rate my personal name lists:www.behindthename.com/pnl/69381
