Both Eamon and Jeremy are in relationships. Eamon is working on becoming a radiation tech at community college. He met Sofia in one of his classes. Teo didn't approve, because she is older than Eamon. Caitlyn thinks this is silly and it doesn't matter. Teo is slowly coming round to this idea, but Eamon isn't worried about his dad's opinions. He and Sofia are close and starting to consider a future together. Jeremy came out at 16. Caitlyn and Teo were surprised, but have been supportive of their middle son. Jeremy is dating Elias and they are both seniors. They went from friends to dating. They have applied to some of the same schools, but have accepted they may need to break-up before college. Eamon and Sofia are spending Christmas Eve with her family and Christmas Day with his family. Elias is celebrating Hannukah with his family and Jeremy will be there for a few nights. Elias is spending Christmas with Jeremy and his family. Gilbert is taking as many electives in high school as possible. He still wants to be a video game designer. He sometimes works as video game tester and consultant. He will be getting a tablet for drawing and designing this Christmas. Zee is taking ballet and dancing as extra in the Nutcracker. She will be in the party scenes and a bon-bon in the sweets portion. Caitlyn is still at home and helping take care of her aging parents. She is grateful not to be a grandmother yet.
