I think it's really beautiful! I'm on the fence about Agnes and Inez lately, but I think both of them have fallen into my favorite catalog. I like Inez more than Ines.

In English I pronounce it as IE-nəz (like eyeness), but in my native tongue I pronounce it as ee-NEHZ. I prefer the English pronunciation.

The only South African Inez I know of, an older lady now deceased, pronounced it EYEnez. I don't much like the sound and I certainly wouldn't consider it myself. We have no Spanish influence on names here; as forms of Agnes go, I prefer Agneta.

I really like Inez. Where I live everyone with this name spells it Ines so I lke that Inez doesn't seem overused, at least in my experience. This is why I prefer Inez over Ines.

It's a bit odd. Tries to hint at exoticism, but is mostly English in usage. I'd assume EYE-nez, and I do prefer Ines. EYE-nez is vaguely nasal, with sounds not commonly used in feminine names.

However, Inez looks cool, at least on paper.
Still, I prefer Ines to Inez.

I much prefer it to Agnes, and I prefer the spelling Inez. I would use Inez Marina, Hugo Alessandro, and Lena Evangeline.
