I like it. As a kid I really loved that Disney movie about the cat Thomasina with multiple lives. (Called the 3 lives of Thomasina I think?) I don't necessarily love it as much as I did in childhood but I do quite like it still. I have met a couple of Thomasina's in my life that were named after male relatives named Thomas. The first after her dad, the second her granddad, respectively. I've yet to come in contact with one who was given it independently of honorifics but I'd be very intrigued if I was. Sounds quite interesting to see a baby Thomasina in the wild whose parents "just liked it"

Someone on a different platform proposed this to me as a nickname at one point and I was intrigued: Taisie. I also like Toma, Tama, Sina, Mina, Nina, Maisie, Tansy etc. I Hate Tommy on a girl though.
