[Opinions] Re: Eliana / Liana
I like them both. I've known gals with each.
Liana seems a little more dated, and Eliana seems more fashionable right now, with that vowel at the front.
I personally like Liana a tiny bit more - I'd rather be named it, or use it for a daughter. I guess I just like the fact that it is shorter and feels more compact, less lacy. Four syllables is a lot, even for a shortish name like Eliana.
But on someone else, I would like Eliana about as well - maybe sometimes more.- mirfak
