Alexine is fine; I'm not a fan but it's better than Alexis on a girl. I like its sound and how it looks on paper, but I prefer it as a short form of Alexandrine rather than a name on its own.
Lucine is lovely, especially with the French pronunciation. I'm a little surprised at the fact that it's now archaic in France - it doesn't have that feel. Seems like a name French would use in a heartbeat; I mean - there are Lucie and Lucile / Lucille.
