Gracie's mother, Wanda, is a mathematician, which a lot of people consider science, but Wanda thinks otherwise. Her husband, Kevin, is a 7th-grade English teacher. When Issac gets to 7th grade, he says that it'll be embarrassing if Kevin is one of his teachers(spoiler alert: he is). Wanda tells him that it doesn't matter, at least Issac will be learning something. The Charlestons live in a 3-story townhouse, though people often mistake it for an apartment building(it is NOT). They also have a pet monkey, believe it or not, named Marilla(Wanda read Anne of Green Gables when she was younger). She probably got to America by some illegal thing or what not, but Marilla was found by Kevin in a cage a couple months ago, and he took her home. Gracie loves playing with Marilla, and Marilla loves playing with Gracie. Issac is a different story. Gracie is a very outgoing person who doesn't mind socializing with others. She's also very curious, which sometimes gets her into trouble. Gracie really likes music, and is excellent with the piano. She wants to make music/be a musician someday. Issac is more of an electronics guy. Gracie's family owns a green sedan, which she names Birdie because she saw a finch the same color as the car once.
Gracie is now in school, and she's already made a new friend: Jessica "Jessie" Miranda Waters, a very artistic girl with a creative personality.
