It reminds me of the time in my life when I thought abacus was such a great sounding word that it could be a good name. I now think that is silly, which colors my opinion of similar sounding Atticus. Also the attic part does bring to mind a big empty space, so I associate vacuousness, which doesn't appeal.

But I can see it's why people might like it and objectively know it's not a silly word name. It's kind of between Attila, Atlas, and Marcus.
Kit would be a cute nickname for it.
