Year Thirty-One
While working at home, I order some food for delivery. When I hear a ring at the door, I assume it's them, only to find a baby boy abandoned at my doorstep. I immediately call Thaïs, and we decide to keep the baby. We name him Robin Lysander and decide to use my last name, Fairchild, so it matches Rodica's. Robin has straight brown hair and green eyes, not unlike Thaïs. Rodica's a little confused, but very excited to have a baby brother around.

Year Thirty-Two
Robin has brought so much joy to our family that Thaïs and I have decided to adopt another baby. Unfortunately, our adoption falls through. My beloved pitbull, Zeus, passes away at the ripe old age of 13.

Year Thirty-Three
In an effort to reconnect with my roots, I decide to learn Japanese. I've stuck to it, with help from my dad.

Year Thirty-Four
I begin experiencing horrid, chronic joint pain, and at only 34, I'm diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis. This is a devastating blow, as it's incurable, and I know I won't be able to continue drawing comics. I keep going as long as I can, but am eventually forced to confine myself to writing the stories as someone else draws for me.

This year, I fall ill with mycoplasma. I recover fairly quickly, but I don't enjoy it at all. Luckily, I don't spread it to anyone else in the house.

Phoebe winds up in the hospital after getting into a wreck. Though she's shaken, she is okay. I stay with her in the hospital until she gets out.

Robin gets temporary amnesia after a concussion during a game of rugby with his friends. He only forgets who we are and who he is, luckily, it goes away within a week or so. Rodica uses it to tease him, which she often gets in trouble for.

Though it's late, Thaïs and I decide we'd like to take the risk and get IVF, using my eggs, as Thaïs has just turned 40. Unfortunately, it fails, likely due to my age.

Shortly after Rodica's sweet 16, she experiences an episode of transient global amnesia, from an unknown cause. It lasts for two hours, and though it's scary for her other mother and I, Robin wastes no time tricking her just as she did when he experienced his amnesia.

I'm removed from my current project, which makes me incredibly angry and frustrated. Never one to go down easy, I immediately strike up a new one, and garner support for it on my own.
