It's been growing on me lately. It could pair with just about anything. Myosotis and ari came up with some great combos!

For me Lysander is the perfect name. Soft but substantial, not too difficult to spell or say, no super awful/well known associations, good meaning, not popular, but somewhat familiar. It's currently number four on my list, but I have considered it for the #1 spot. For middles I like:
Lysander Atticus
Lysander Sage
Lysander Ambrose
Lysander Francis
Lysander George
Lysander Cedric
Lysander Hermes
Lysander William
Lysander Kai
Lysander Kit
Lysander Markus
Lysander Xerxes
Lysander Theo
Lysander Atticus
Lysander Sage
Lysander Ambrose
Lysander Francis
Lysander George
Lysander Cedric
Lysander Hermes
Lysander William
Lysander Kai
Lysander Kit
Lysander Markus
Lysander Xerxes
Lysander Theo
It's one of my all-time favourites. It's similar to the classic, but overused Alexander, and is the name of one of the main characters in A Midsummer Night's Dream. Quite usable too, I like to think, even if it does have an aristocratic feel.
Lysander Amadeus
Lysander Constantine
Lysander Demetrius
Lysander Emlyn
Lysander Francis
Lysander Gideon
Lysander Hieronymus
Lysander István
Lysander Julian
Lysander Maximilian
Lysander Nolan
Lysander Odysseus
Lysander Peregrine
Lysander Somerled
Lysander Thaddeus
Lysander Ulysses
Lysander Wolfgang
Lysander Amadeus

Lysander Demetrius
Lysander Emlyn

Lysander Gideon
Lysander Hieronymus
Lysander István

Lysander Odysseus
Lysander Peregrine
Lysander Somerled
Lysander Thaddeus
Lysander Ulysses
Lysander Wolfgang
It sounds like a villain name to me.
