[Opinions] Cornelia
This is the name of the Swedish singer who represents Sweden at Eurovision 2022.In my opinion, I really like it. I would never use it because it's very dated in my country, but I have a soft spot for it. I prefer it to Cordelia, due to its international and versatile sound. What are your thoughts? What would you pair it with?

It’s ugly in my opinion. Starts with “corn” too. Cordelia is better but not by much. Cecelia is similar sounding to both and I think it flows much better.

Cornelia has a nice old-fashioned charm. I like Cornelius even more. Having grown up in corn country, I'm not sure that I would use a name with Cornie/corny nickname protentional. Nell or Lia might be cute nicknames though.Cornelia Agnes

I love the name Cornelia - there are so many nicknames too! Neely, Cori, Nell, Elia etc. Ps. I always associate this name with Sweden somehow

The corn part bothers me, probably because I live in Illinois and cornfields are everywhere. It does seem very dated. My grandpa’s middle name was Cornelius and he hated it. I don’t like Cordelia either, but I do like it more than Cornelia.

I love it. It sounds like a flower to me. It's so beautiful, strong, and elegant. I don't think that the beginning word of "corn" or saying "Corny Lia" is not funny in my opinion.Cornelia Zoe

I actually quite like Cornelia and I not sure if I would prefer this or Cordelia, but I feel like Cornelia is magnificent, and regal is a delicate yet strong way. Not a bad name at all. The ‘corn’ part doesn’t bother me but I would like to see it on somebody one day.Cornelia Alice
