I asked about this name a while back. In my opinion this name is definitely one of the more unappreciated beautiful girl names here. I prefer and like best the German pronounciation. It’s beautiful and dare I say slightly refreshing to Gazelle. The meaning is a bit eerie, but that’s what gives it flair. Gisela is beautiful, elegant, and different. More power to Gisela I say.
