With Henry's advanced aged he started handling more and more responsibilities to Nicholas and was happy to see that his older son seemed to be handling all the challenges well. Following the birth of their two daughters, Nicholas and Annora were overjoyed to welcome three sons in a span of four years. Frederick arrived first securing Nurthumbria's succession and was followed by Alexander and George all the boys being born almost exactly two years after each other.
The situation in Aragon did not improve in the slightest. Adora's mysterious illness only worsened with time and she is now spending majority of the year at the coast, where the sunlight and fresh wind make her pain at least somehow bearable. Josepe and Patrona are raised by their nannies and rarely see their parents. With Adora gone, it was not surprising that Edmundo found himself a mistress, Baroness Fiamma Villareal, daughter of a well known merchant. Their relationship has been going on for several years and she recently bore him a son Etocles, whome Edmundo gave the title Baron Firmin.
Following Ruadh's older brother's death after a fall from horse, Ruadh and Maud found themselves in a undesirable situation, suddenly Ruadh became the heir to the throne. The family was forced to return from their home in wilderness to the castle and Ruadh had to pick up his share of responsibility as the Crown Prince of Scotland. Saying that his and Maud's marriage did not suffer under this change would be a blatant lie, but luckily they were able to work through their issues. They have been also blessed by three more children, Prince Tomlin three years ago, and twins Princess Junia and Prince Einri who just turned one.
