According to wiktionary, "minette" also means that in French slang https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/faire_minette#French
I'm of the opinion that if a name works in the language and culture the child will be growing up in, it's fair game, but it may be worth keeping in mind that similar words refer to going down on someone in several languages (https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/minette#French) and people speaking them may have this association.
FWIW I think it's a nice sounding word and if it didn't immediately bring this 18+ imagery to my mind I would probably find it to be one of the more tolerable -ette names.
