Annette is ok

I'm not a fan but I don't hate them either. Annette doesn't seem right on a pet. Babette could work for a pet though.

I really like Annette. However, I dont really like the initial sounds of Babette, even though I usually like -ette names.

I don’t mind Annette. The only Babette I can think of is an author I read as young child 30 plus years ago Babette Cole.

Babette reminds me of a nickname for a child named Barbara who’s been named after their mother.

Annette is OK; I prefer Anne, but then, I would! Babette is the sound of someone drowning.
