It's my sister's name (well, the one she goes by. It's actually her middle name, and to be honest I cannot for the life of me figure out why she wouldn't rather go by her first name, which is Maria) and it's the middle name of about 30% of girls I know. Unfortunately, most of those girls are your stereotypical "mean girl" (there are exceptions, obviously. Both my sister and one of my closest friends have this as a middle name and don't fit that stereotype) so I don't have the best associations with the name either. It does definitely need a break.
