I love Vera, it's 'cold' and sophisticated, imo.
For me this name is an epitome of elegance.
I'm not a fan of the meaning, though... but it's not a big deal, because, to be honest, I don't care about meanings that much.

Oh, that's about 'faith'. I'm not religious at all, and this name has a deep religious connotation, (at least in an Orthodox Church), it's not a real problem though, but might be taken into consideration, I think.

Well, I know that in Russian and Belarusian the word 'vera' means 'faith'.
And the name Vera is a calque of the Greek Πίστη (Pistis), which means "trust, faith" in Greek.
