I do like Scotia, but I prefer Scottia, two Ts. I'm not sure why. I guess it looks more finished..? Its certainly more pretty than Scotta.
It sounds like a feminization of Scott. Thats the only problem. Some in the US would think that you were naming her after a male. They know nothing about the blossom meaning, which is quite lovely!
