[Opinions] Angelina or Seraphina?
Which name do you like better?

I really love Seraphina but I really do love Angelina too. If I wasn't so set on Evangeline I'd consider using it as well but it's too similar.

Seraphina
I don't dislike Angelina, but it seems so unnecessary and colorless next to Angela, which is familiar and warm, and Angelica, which is spunky and botanical, and Evangeline, which seems more modern.
Seraphina has more color while still having an angel connection. It has a fantasy vibe to me (I've seen it used in fiction for at least 2 witches), but also seems like it could blend in if it wanted, because of Sera.
FYI, I know a middle aged Seraphine, and that strikes me about like Rosalind would.

Angelina
I don't like either, I think they're both generically frilly and saccharine.
On one hand, Angelina is what it says on the tin, Seraphina feels like it's trying to have more of a personality and failing. Angelina feels more I-am-what-I-am (which is bubblegum pink and tooth-achey and a little bit bratish) while Seraphina feels like the younique Mary-Sue.
On the other, I like Sera as a nickname way more than anything you could get from Angelina, apart from maybe Annie? But I'm not one to like names just for the nickname. You might as well just use the nickname at that point really.
On yet another, something about Seraphina just gives me annoying vibes and I just flat out don't like it, it's trying so hard to be pretty, to be dramatic, to be different. It's the manic pixie dream girl of frilly girl names. And I like frill. I sort of feel like it would make me want to roll my eyes if I saw it used irl.
I also feel both names are very girly, I can't see them aging well, even though I know they must do, in my head they're always just a little bit almost bratty. They both give me Veruca Salt vibes.
Edit: Oh, they both make me think of that mean girl in A Series of Unfortunate Events... the one from the orphanage who was all frilly and shrill and demanding?
Edit 2: But actually really sort of like Seraphine as a middle name, so...uh.. I don't know. Go figure. I think I like it as it's a little bit less in your face, and I only like it as a middle name where it wouldn't get used on a daily basis so it feels even less... in your face. And I sometimes find myself thinking about Angelique, mostly because I knew a really cool girl who was pretty...punk rock.. and her name, which she never went by as a teenager, was Angelique. When I met her again as an adult she did go by Angelique and that was somehow even more punk rock just because of the person she was.

Carmelita Spats. She is kind of the antithesis of a Mary-Sue.

Angelina.
Seraphina
Angelina reminds me of a sweet ballerina.
Seraphina is a fiery heroine in an adventure series.
They are both nice in their own ways, but I prefer the boldness of Seraphina. I also feel like Angelina is generically angelic while Seraphina is a very specific and passionate (and quirky sounding to say the least) type of angel.
