I was curious, so I looked up the names that end in al or all on the girl's US top 1000. The feminine ones are Kendall (fell 40 places), Opal (rose 19), and Crystal (fell 89). So my hopes aren't high.

Opal rose 300+ places in less than 5 years, but I don't think it'll make Crystal popular.
I don't think *al names have ever really been dated/popular as a group, like Chantal dropped off the charts in the US when Kendall was just starting to see more use.
I think people who might have used Crystal in the past are likely to use something like Opal, Willow, Luna, Iris, Nova, Sage, Chloe now.
