[Opinions] WDYTO Thatcher?
Thatcher has been stuck in my head for days now. I’m kind of liking it. Is it too attached to Margaret Thatcher?

I like it well enough. Might be a bit awkward in the UK given Margaret Thatcher and thatched roofs.

I would like it if Margaret Thatcher didn't exist. It would be a lot like Fletcher (a surnamey job name that evokes an old-timey village where you lived in houses with thatched roofs and hunted with arrows). But as it is, it reminds me too much of Margaret Thatcher and if someone's name was Thatcher it would make me suspicious of his parents!

Yep, totally connected to Margaret Thatcher for me. Maybe not a problem for a kid born today, it fits in with other surnames as a first name trends, but maybe it is. I mean, Thatcher was Prime Minister before I was born. Maybe it's like Gandhi or Churchill that it is always going to overwhelmingly attached to a world leader.

It pretty much owes its familiarity to Margaret and nobody else.
I don't think Margaret Thatcher was a particularly admirable leader, though of course I'm not British and opinions will vary and she was certainly not the worst leader who ever led.It also makes me think of thatching, like on a roof, or like pubic hair.

It is, and it’s not a particularly nice name besides that.

Hi !!!If people use Washington, Jefferson or Lincoln ... What's the problem of using Thatcher? She was a great woman.

It reminds me of the character Corky Thatcher on the TV show Life Goes On.

It is totally Margaret. At all costs, avoid!
